Vape delivery in Hua Hin and Cha-am

Hua Hin is the seaside town Bangkok escapes to: a few hours south by road, with condo towers, golf resorts, night markets and a big community of winter-season regulars. Cha-am, just to the north, is quieter and full of weekend apartments. Khao Takiab, at the southern end of Hua Hin beach, has more hotels and a hilltop temple.

Both are on the mainland, so standard delivery is free and takes 2–4 days. Hotels hold parcels at reception, and most condo buildings have a juristic office that signs for them.

One local rule to know: Hua Hin beach, Khao Takiab and Cha-am are all on Thailand’s 2018 list of no-smoking beaches. Smoke or vape away from the sand, in a spot with an ashtray, and watch for signs.

Krabi and Ao Nang

Most visitors to Krabi stay in Ao Nang, the beach strip west of Krabi Town, or in town itself near the river. Both are on the road network, so delivery is the standard 2–4 days, free. The same goes for the resort beaches farther up the coast, like Klong Muang and Tubkaek: send the resort name and the parcel waits at reception.

Railay is the exception. Its limestone cliffs cut it off from the roads, and the only way in is by longtail boat. If you’re staying there, ask the manager whether delivery is possible, or have the parcel sent to a hotel in Ao Nang before you head over.

Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta is actually two islands: Lanta Noi, reached by a short car ferry from the Krabi mainland, and Lanta Yai, linked to it by a bridge. Nearly everyone stays on Lanta Yai, around Saladan village and along the west-coast beaches: Klong Dao, Long Beach (Phra Ae), Klong Nin and Kantiang Bay. Until the planned road bridge to the mainland opens, parcels still go over by ferry.

Because of that crossing, there’s no fixed delivery time. In the Andaman rainy season, roughly May to October, rough seas can also slow the boats down. Message the manager with your hotel name, and you’ll get a date before you pay.

Klong Dao and Phra Ae are both on the 2018 no-smoking beach list, so keep your device off the sand.

Koh Tao

Koh Tao is small, green and built around diving. Boats arrive at Mae Haad pier from Chumphon on the mainland or via Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, and most people stay in Sairee, Mae Haad or around Chalok Baan Kao in the south.

Timing depends on the route and the season. Between October and December, monsoon storms in the Gulf can stop ferries for days. Ask the manager before ordering and allow a few extra days.

Chalok Baan Kao beach is on the 2018 no-smoking list, and Thai law treats ferries and piers as no-smoking areas too.

Khao Lak

Khao Lak is a string of beach resorts on the Andaman coast in Phang Nga province, about an hour’s drive north of Phuket airport. Most hotels sit around Bang Niang, Nang Thong and Khuk Khak, and resort receptions accept parcels for guests.

It’s on the mainland, so delivery is 2–4 days and free. Khao Lak beach is on the 2018 no-smoking list, so use the hotel’s smoking area instead.

Koh Phi Phi

Phi Phi Don has no roads for cars. Everything, from groceries to luggage, comes in by boat from Phuket or Krabi and moves around Tonsai village on carts. Couriers don’t serve it the way they serve the mainland.

Ask the manager first. Boats to Phi Phi depend on the weather, and a parcel can sit at the pier until the next crossing. Often the easier route is to have your order delivered to your hotel in Phuket, Krabi or Ao Nang before you catch the boat. Anywhere else in Thailand

We ship to the whole country: Chiang Rai, Kanchanaburi, Ayutthaya, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani, Rayong and beyond. Anywhere on the mainland, the free standard service takes 2–4 days. For small islands, the manager checks the route first.

Wherever you are, the law is the same: vapes and heated tobacco are formally banned in Thailand, and in practice people are usually asked to put them away.
