How vape delivery to Koh Phangan works

Your order leaves the mainland with a local courier (Kerry Express or Flash Express), travels south to Surat Thani and usually crosses to Thong Sala by ferry, either directly from Donsak or by way of Koh Samui. From the pier, the courier takes it to your door.

Even with the boat ride, the free standard service takes 4 days, the same as Samui. Order a few days before you run out, and the parcel lands before you do.

October to December: plan around the monsoon

The Gulf of Thailand gets its heavy rain late in the year, with the worst of it usually in November. When a storm hits, ferry operators can cancel sailings, sometimes for several days in a row, and parcels wait on the mainland until the sea calms down.

If you’re on the island in those months, order earlier than you think you need to. Don’t wait until you’re down to your last pack.

Full Moon Party: order a week ahead

Every month, the party at Haad Rin brings thousands of people to one beach. In the days before it, ferries get crowded, and police set up checkpoints on the way into Haad Rin. Those checks are about drugs, not vapes. Still, police across Thailand are also going after vape pods laced with drugs, so a device in your pocket is attention you don’t need.

Order about a week before the party and have it delivered to where you’re staying. On the night itself, leave the device in your room.

Bungalows, villas and long stays

A lot of places on Koh Phangan don’t have a 24-hour front desk. If you’re in a bungalow or a rented house, send a Google Maps pin and a Thai phone number the courier can reach, yours or the owner’s.

The rules on the island

The island feels relaxed, but the national ban on vapes and heated tobacco applies on Koh Phangan as much as in Bangkok. In practice, people vaping on a beach or a quiet road are usually asked to put it away. A fine is possible but not the norm; the UK Foreign Office says fines are typically 5,000–30,000 Thai baht. Haad Rin isn’t on the national list of no-smoking beaches, but that doesn’t make vaping there legal.

The ferry from Samui or Donsak is a domestic trip, with no customs check. The one place the ban is applied strictly is customs at an international airport, which is why ordering here is easier than packing a vape in your luggage.
